Stop filling when the unit reaches the labelled fill line (about two-thirds full). Don't recap or detach needles before disposal — drop the whole syringe-and-needle unit in. For UK customers, return via your local council's clinical-waste route; in mainland EU, check the locally listed pharmacy take-back schemes.
