A thin 30G needle on a 1 mL graduated barrel — the standard option if you draw from a vial at home and need accurate dosing without a thicker bore than necessary. Each pack of 10 ships individually wrapped in peel-open pouches and ethylene-oxide sterilised before despatch. Used by tens of thousands of EU customers since 2022.
The 30G sits in the comfortable middle of the gauge range — thinner than a 27G or 28G IM needle, thicker than a 31G short pen needle. The 1 mL barrel covers anywhere from 5 to 100 units; if you routinely dose under 50 units, the 0.5 mL specialty syringe gives finer resolution. For drawing from a glass vial without coring the rubber septum, pair with the 18G blunt-fill needle and switch to this for delivery.

29G (0.33mm) is the strongest and most common. 30G (0.30mm) offers a good balance of comfort and reliability. 31G (0.25mm) is the thinnest and most comfortable but slightly more flexible. Follow your prescriber's advice if in doubt.
